The rigors of rustbelt life can be heavy. The constant traffic, the concrete jungle of buildings, the din of a busy city… sometimes you just need to escape, you know? Fortunately, life slows down just outside of the suburbs. Tucked away in the picturesque countryside of Columbia Station, just a short 30-minute drive from the bustling city of Cleveland, lies Bootleggers Bar & Grille — a charming all-American restaurant. It's hard to miss the perfectly manicured lawns of Mallard Creek Golf Course. While it's beautiful, it's not quite what we're in the are for. We're here to visit Bootleggers Bar & Grille, a fun little tavern where diners are encouraged to resist Prohibition.
The views and the sweet sounds of birdsong make this an excellent place to enjoy dinner in the warmer months. This is a far cry from the rustic cellars where actual bootleggers once enjoyed their spoils! Wide open skies and a fountain-fueled lake set the scene for a relaxing meal.

Though the restaurant is only about 30 minutes from Cleveland, the nearest big box stores are probably about 20 minutes from the restaurant. It's in a rather rural area, but it's also one of the best places in town for tacos, eggrolls, Philly cheesesteaks, and more.
