What is the difference between Best Buy and Best Buy Outlet? ›

A Best Buy Outlet store is a location that sells clearance and open-box products at significant discounts.

Live deals usually start at 11 a.m. ET on the day the product is listed to drop and lasts until around 6 p.m. ET or until the supplies are gone. You will see a percentage bar indicating how much of the inventory has been bought.

Open-box items are previously owned by customers and returned under Best Buy Return & Exchange Promise. Refurbished items are previously owned, inspected and restored like-new. Clearance items are discontinued products at the end of its stock.
